Critters that wander by...
We live adjoining a wildlife conservation area. Of course the critters
don't know how to read signs, or don't care, but neither do we! We've had
deer, opossum, turtles, and lots of birds wander in. At night we hear coyotes,
and great horned owls.
These turtles came up to our yard from the swamp and river behind the house. Every
spring they show up to lay their eggs in our sandy soil.
This year we saw one of
the babies. Note the quarter next to the turtle for size comparison.
